WHY YOU SHOULDN'T DELAY YOUR ORDER - Increase in Demand and Decrease in Competition is Coming

All of us at Kaemark wish you good health and happiness.  As you have, we are thinking of how to make the most of the unpredictable pause in the economy.  The more we talk to our most successful customers the more confident we become in our industry.  When business does return to normal, and it will, there will be high demand on stylists, salons, suites and spas.  When the pent-up demand returns, we all need to be ready to make up for lost time.  There is no doubt some salons will not make it through this, but for those of us in the industry that do, we need to be ready to support and make up for the increased demand and decrease in competition.

As we navigate through the unknown impact of non-essential business closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are some precautionary steps you can take now to ensure that your construction projects stay within (or as close to) your original construction timeline.

Do not delay your orders.

Many states have deemed “Construction” as an essential business during this pandemic. History provides that after a time of crisis, the construction industry experiences increasing demand for construction professionals. There will be material delays due to lower production during the crisis followed by a high demand once the crisis is resolved. Not to mention the longer production times as manufacturers fight to keep up with the new demand all while also suffering from material delays.

Kaemark mobilized our efforts in anticipation of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kaemark is no stranger to operating during times of adversity. We carefully mobilized our supply efforts to ensure we maintain our quality of service. Because of these preliminary efforts, we can stay fully operational.

  1. We prepared for material delays. In early February, we made the decision to purchase “extra” key components to ensure our furniture and equipment could continue being manufactured for months to come. We are receiving shipments from our suppliers daily.
  2. We are not suffering from a lack of manpower. Our manufacturing facility has not been directly affected by the COVID-19 virus. Our team members are practicing all efforts outlined in our COVID-19 Safety Plan, and it is our intent to stay fully operational until we are instructed otherwise.
  3. We’re maintaining our standard production time. It is our objective to maintain this production schedule. In order for us to maintain this production schedule, it is imperative that we receive your order as scheduled.

Take advantage of our ability to process your order so you will not experience any delays. In hopes to avoid a secondary disruption to their business due to construction, many of our multi-location clients recommend moving forward with their original buildout and remodel plans while their stylists and estheticians are unable to work. We will continue to make sure you, the customer, receive the same Kaemark care and consideration that is our standard and especially needed in times like these.

Since Kaemark has the ability NOW to process your order, you will be far ahead of your competition.

Stay healthy.  Stay safe.  Thank you for your partnership.

Dear Kaemark Partners,

All of us at Kaemark are wishing you, your families and your businesses good health.  We appreciate you and we are working hard to play our part.

As our company responds to COVID-19, the health and safety of our employees, vendors, and customers remain our top priority. This is a responsibility that we - like many other companies - take very seriously.

We are still fully operational and have taken precautionary initiatives to allow us to continue our operation efforts.

During the uncertainty caused by coronavirus (COVID-19), we would like to update everyone connected to the Kaemark Family, customers, partners, suppliers and everyone else, on some of our initiatives to keep our company and the societies we are part of as safe as possible.

Steps we’re taking to keep our communities safe in order to prevent COVID-19 from spreading:

  • Since the end of February, we have implemented several precautions e.g. hand sanitizer throughout the production and administrative facilities, more frequent hand washing, and we have increased the physical distance between employees to 6 feet.
  • Several times a day we  routinely clean all frequently touched surfaces in the workplace, such as workstations, countertops, and doorknobs.
  • Any employee who may show signs of a fever or has family members who are symptomatic are required to notify their supervisor and stay home.
  • Employees are instructed to stay home until they have been fever free without medication for 24 hours.
  • All unnecessary work travel is avoided and so is the use of public transportation.
  • We’re following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), federal agencies, and other global health organizations to collect the most up-to-the-minute information to ensure the actions we're taking are comprehensive and expedient. Based on this information, we will adjust our actions accordingly.

Steps you can take to protect yourself and your community

At this time no employee has been infected, but contingency plans are in place, should it happen. We will keep you posted on any developments as we all navigate through this new reality.

We can all play a part in keeping each other healthy and safe.

Stay healthy and thanks for all you do!
