    Panel Saw Machine Operator

    Job Description

    Kaemark is a large industry leader in commercial millwork manufacturing located in Giddings Texas that has been in business for over 50 years. Giddings is a small town conveniently located in central Texas. The Panel Saw Machine Operator will adhere to all company policies as listed in the Kaemark Employee Handbook, and will follow all safety procedures. The Panel Saw Machine Operator will complete any jobs or projects assigned by the Department Supervisor on time, with accuracy, and will perform quality control checks created by Kaemark.

    Responsibilities
    • Follow all safety guidelines while operating equipment required to perform the job
    • Follow all quality standards set by the Kaemark brand
    • Adhere to weekly production schedule set by production management
    • Perform PM checklist as assigned for any equipment in use
    • Confirm scheduled jobs with department supervisor to ensure order priority completion
    • Ability to read order blueprints and specifications
    • Occasionally work with research & design team with questions/concerns regarding orders in process
    • Report an issues/concerns to department supervisor
    • Keep work area clean
    • Keep machines clean and report any machine issues to maintenance manager
    • Perform daily, weekly, monthly maintenance checks on machine - report any machine issues to maintenance crew
    • Make sure that the solid surface is sitting correctly according to the order per design team
    • Accept or reject finished items with supervisor approval before sending to next station
    • Keep up with order parts on carts, inspect them before sending to next station
    • Complete maintenance checklist on machine throughout the day as needed
    • Program furniture components on computer to begin cutting
    • Keep track of quantity before sending to Cab Assembly
    • Get orders done as priority given - (Red paper)
    • Perform daily housekeeping at end of work shift
    • Perform daily/weekly PM on machine as listed in PM checklist
    • Track material usage by job, report any discrepancies in daily checklist
    • Perform any additional tasks and activities and special projects assigned by team lead, supervisor or Plant Management
    Job Requirements
    • Must be able to read a measuring tape, and other measuring devices
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis, and stand for an 8 hr work shifts
    • Must be able to work overtime when required, with management approval
    • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
    • Must have basis to moderate computer skills to operate machine
    • Must have good understanding of basic math and geometry
    Pay

    Depending on experience pay rate can be $15-$19/hour

    Cabinet and Door Installer

    Job Description

    Do you like to travel? Want to see more of the United States? Join our Installation Team. Our Installation Team travels all over the U.S. installing the beautiful cabinetry and doors made at our manufacturing plant.

    Responsibilities

    Must have at least 1 yr of combined experience in the areas listed below:

    • Custom millwork fabrication
    • Finishing carpentry
    • Cabinetry assembly
    • Laminating experience
    • General contracting
    • Door installation
    • Ability to read shop drawings and architectural plans
    • Valid driver license, ability to drive company truck (preferred)
    • Ability to travel out of state as required (60% of the time)
    • Able to communicate efficiently with GC and other trades in order to resolve issues
    • When not working on an install, if wanted we will provide hours in the shop to complete the work week. Those hours would need to be onsite in Giddings Texas
    • No tools required, we will provide all the equipment
    • Working knowledge of hand / power tools, skill saw, table saws and other carpentry tools

    This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds

    Pay

    $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

    Nesting Machine Operator

    Job Description
    The Nesting Machine Operator will adhere to all company policies as listed in the Kaemark Employee Handbook, and will follow all safety procedures. Nesting Machine Operators will complete any jobs or projects assigned by the Department Supervisor on time, with accuracy, and will perform quality control checks created by Kaemark.
    Responsibilities
  • Follow all safety guidelines while operating equipment required to perform the job
  • Follow all quality standards set by the Kaemark brand
  • Adhere to weekly production schedule set by production management
  • Perform PM checklist as assigned for any equipment in use
  • Confirm scheduled jobs with department supervisor to ensure order priority completion
  • Ability to read order blueprints and specifications
  • Ensure nesting machine is operating properly - daily, weekly, monthly maintenance checks - Clean machine 2-3 times a day
  • Adjust machine components according to specifications such as widths, lengths, and thickness of materials
  • Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards
  • Accept or reject finished items with supervisor approval before sending to next station
  • Keep completed orders & orders in progress organized
  • Report to supervisor regarding questions/concerns on order
  • Keep finished orders organized and separated - help move carts as needed
  • Perform daily housekeeping at end of work shift
  • Perform daily/weekly PM on machine as listed in PM checklist
  • Track material usage by job, report any discrepancies in daily checklist
  • Perform any additional tasks and activities and special projects assigned by team lead, supervisor or Plant Management
