Build a Cosmetology school that runs like a salon

Whether you answer to a district office or a business plan, the floor has the same job: 24 students running dryers without an extension cord in sight, aisles that pass state board, and equipment that survives six classes a day. We've designed, built, and installed cosmetology schools for over 50 years — public programs and private academies alike.

Design.

We plan around how your school actually runs — class rotations, instructor sightlines, the flow from theory room to practice floor to public clinic. You get a floor plan with station counts, electrical, and plumbing your architect or contractor can price, drawn to your state's school requirements. Already have an architect? That's most of our projects.

Manufacture.

Your stations, chairs, and shampoo units come off the same Texas lines working salons buy — education-hardened for constant use, spilled color, and daily sanitation. Students graduate fluent in the equipment their first employer owns, and your school pays factory-direct without an import middleman.

Install.

Public programs get summer-break installation so day one of the semester starts in a finished lab. Private academies get schedules built backward from enrollment start — because every week the floor isn't open is tuition revenue that never arrives. Either way: one partner, warranty-backed.

Creating the Place Where Students Become Professionals

  • Your teaching is more than a classroom. It’s often where students wash hair for the first time, nervously greet a real client, or finally master the perfect color. If the room’s too crowded, or things just don’t work how you need them to, everyone feels it. But with good design, your cosmetology lab can feel like its own professional salon—the kind of place that helps students find their stride and makes other schools take notice.

We’ve been working with cosmetology schools for years to develop the right solutions. Our mission? Make your teaching space look and feel just as functional as a modern salon, with the kind of durability that stands up to everyday hustle and bustle of a modern cosmetology program.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How is school equipment different from regular salon equipment?

It starts as the same product working salons buy from us — then gets education-hardened: heavier-duty mechanisms, replaceable wear parts, and finishes built for constant sanitation. A salon chair sees one stylist; a school chair sees six classes a day.

Can you help us meet state board facility requirements?

Yes — we draw floor plans to your state's school requirements for station counts, spacing, and sanitation, and provide the equipment specs your application paperwork asks for. Your school owns the licensing process; we make sure the facility isn't the weak point.

Can you build rooms for esthetics or nail tech too?

Yes — facial chairs, massage beds, manicure tables, and pedicure units come from our same factory, so adding a program later means matching equipment on one PO instead of a new vendor search.

Can grant or bond funding be spent in phases?

Yes — we regularly structure public projects around Perkins funds, bond cycles, and fiscal-year budgets, with phased orders and purchasing-department-ready quotes. Matching product stays available year over year.

Our clinic floor is open to the public. Can one floor do both jobs?

That's how we design them — a floor professional enough that paying clients book real services and students learn in a genuine salon environment. The same space that trains your students markets your school.
