    Estimator

    Job Description

    Kaemark is a large industry leader in commercial millwork manufacturing located in Giddings Texas that has been in business for over 50 years. Giddings is a small town conveniently located in central Texas. We currently have an opportunity available for a Furniture Design Estimator at our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for the estimation of labor, material, equipment and costs for production of furniture. This position may also be remote or preferably a blend of onsite and remote.

    Responsibilities
    • Responsible for the estimation of labor, material, equipment and costs for production of furniture
    • Responsible for managing all aspects of the projects that designer created.
    • Ability to work with other designers, production employees and office teammates.
    • Responsible for all deadlines and communicating progress.
    • Communicate with the Head Designer about fresh ideas, perspectives, concerns, deadlines.
    • Excellent Communication skills
    • Preferred -Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field

    Installer

    Job Description

    Do you like to travel? Want to see more of the United States? Join our Installation Team. Our Installation Team travels all over the U.S. installing the beautiful cabinetry and doors made at our manufacturing plant.

    Responsibilities

    Must have at least 1 yr of combined experience in the areas listed below:

    • custom millwork fabrication
    • finishing carpentry
    • Cabinetry assembly
    • laminating experience
    • General contracting
    • door installation
    • ability to read shop drawings and architectural plans
    • valid driver license, ability to drive company truck (preferred)
    • ability to travel out of state as required (60% of the time)
    • able to communicate efficiently with GC and other trades in order to resolve issues
    • when not working on an install, if wanted we will provide hours in the shop to complete the work week. Those hours would need to be onsite in Giddings Texas
    • No tools required, we will provide all the equipment
    • working knowledge of hand / power tools, skill saw, table saws and other carpentry tools

    This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds

    Designer Wood Products

    Job Description

    Kaemark is a large mill work manufacturer located in Giddings Texas. Giddings is a small town conveniently located in central Texas. There is an open position for a Designer/ Estimator. The successful candidate should have 2- 3 years’ experience. A degree is not as important as the experience and personality fit. This individual must have the actual skills to draw/design and facilitate the project from start to finish. The candidate would be responsible for the actual drawing and design of alteration, repair and construction plans, designs and specifications. As with most companies, this person will need to be able to work with everyone from the Plant Manager to the production employees and be able to work at a fast efficient pace. Kaemark is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 5:00 pm and all work is performed onsite. Kaemark has an amazing work culture and offers attractive benefits to its employees.

    $38,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

    Accounts Payable Clerk

    Summary/Objective

    The Accountant will be responsible for assisting the CFO and other team members with daily projects, preparing journal entries, account reconciliations and monthly reports.

    Essential Functions

    2. Prepare and post journal entries.
    3. Processes credit card payments and credits.
    4. Process invoices and purchase orders daily.
    5. Verify accuracy of expense reports and the backup provided.
    6. Prepare and analyze account reconciliations.
    7. Prepare and file monthly Sales Tax for various states.
    8. Prepare and file quarterly and annual permits and fees relating to compliance issues.
    9. Prepare weekly, monthly and annual reports on demand.

    Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
    This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full-time status.
    Education

    Cabinetry Assembly Supervisor

    Job Description
    Kaemark is looking for a Production Supervisor for in the Millwork manufacturing division at our manufacturing facility in Giddings, TX.
    Responsibilities
    - Lead all production employees in safety, quality, and productivity initiatives.
    - Work with the Production Manager on improving flow to achieve production goals.
    - Work with plant management to implement lean initiatives within your department.
    - Provide leadership and serve as a change agent within your department
    - Ensure all assembly work centers follow the production schedule to achieve daily and weekly production goals
    - Coordinate with other departments to ensure all jobs are completed on time
    - Directing resources as needed, ensuring all orders are completed and shipped as scheduled
    - Identifying corrective actions needed to improve KPIs on safety, quality, and productivity
    - Ensure all employees are trained and qualified in at least three different positions - Performing any additional activities and special projects assigned by Plant Management
    - Performing employee evaluations as needed
    Requirements
    - At least 2 yrs of experience managing a manufacturing department, preferably in the woodworking industry
    - Preferred 4-year degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
    - Experience with managing multiple work centers, and coordinating schedules to complete jobs on time
    - Work authorization: United States (Required)
    Skills
    - Strong written and verbal communication skills and cross-functional collaboration at various levels in the organization
    - Must be able to comprehend complex manufacturing operations
    - Demonstrated ability to identify and drive process improvements
